Live in three steps, usually within the week
There is no hardware to install and nothing to rewire in your workshop. The work is getting your customer data in, agreeing your service intervals, and approving what your customers will receive.
Setup is short because there is almost nothing to configure. You upload your customer and vehicle records from an Excel sheet inside the software and map the columns yourself, and the reminder cycle — which is the same for every service centre on Serviciing — starts running. There are no intervals to define, no templates to write and no sending rules to decide.
What actually happens before go-live
Upload your customers
Export your customers, vehicles and last service dates from your DMS or your own records into an Excel sheet, then upload it inside Serviciing and map the columns to the fields. You control this, and you can do it again any time you want to add more.
Nothing to configure
There are no intervals to set up, no templates to write and no schedule to decide. The reminder cycle is built in and identical for every service centre on Serviciing, so there is no setup meeting and nothing to get wrong.
The cycle starts
From the moment your data is in, every customer approaching their service date enters the reminder sequence automatically — four weekly WhatsApp reminders, starting a month before it falls due.
Watch the bookings arrive
Customers book in WhatsApp, confirmations go out on their own, and the dashboard shows you who is due, who booked and who has gone quiet.
The exact sequence every customer receives
This is the loop that repeats for every customer, on their own service date, without anyone starting it. It is the same for every service centre on Serviciing.
A month before it is due
Reminders start four weeks ahead and repeat once a week — four in total — until the customer books.
The customer books on WhatsApp
They book the service in the same chat, without downloading anything or filling in a form.
Confirmed, then reminded again
A confirmation goes out as soon as they book, and a reminder the day before the appointment.
Rated after the service
Once the service is completed a rating request goes out automatically, while the experience is fresh.
Seven messages across one service cycle. The customer can book at any point in the first four, and the sequence stops as soon as they do.
What your staff have to do differently
Almost nothing, which is the point. Reminders, confirmations and rating requests all fire on their own. Your team marks a service as complete, as they already do, and that is what triggers the rating request.
- Reminders and confirmations need no human trigger at all
- Marking a service complete is the only action the cycle depends on
- New customers enter the cycle once they are in your uploaded data
- Under half an hour of training for your front-desk team
Retention overview
What Serviciing needs from you
Short list, and we would rather you knew it before the demo than after.
You upload and map this yourself inside the software. A DMS export is easiest; paper records work but you will be typing. Start with the last six months.
The single biggest factor in whether this works. Bad numbers mean undelivered reminders, and we will tell you what share of your list is unusable.
The reminder cycle counts back from the service due date, so that column is the one that has to be right.
Usually the owner or service manager. Somebody has to look at the dashboard once a week for the system to be worth having.
Serviciing runs in a browser. There is nothing to install on a workshop machine.
No hardware, no dedicated staff member, no change to how you actually service vehicles.
Questions about getting started
You upload it yourself. Export your customers, vehicles and service due dates into an Excel sheet, upload it inside Serviciing and map your columns to the fields. It is self-service, so you are not waiting on us, and you can repeat it whenever you want to add more records.
You will be typing, so start with your last six months of customers — that is where the retention value sits anyway — and build the database forward as vehicles come through the workshop.
Days rather than weeks. Because there is nothing to configure, the only real task is getting your customer data uploaded and mapped. Once it is in, customers approaching their service date enter the reminder cycle automatically.
Neither are most of our customers. The upload is a spreadsheet and a column-mapping screen, your staff need under half an hour of training, and after that the only screen an owner needs is the dashboard.
Fifteen minutes and you will know if it fits
We do our own demos. Screen shared, your data, no slides — and an honest answer if your situation is not right for Serviciing.
