FAQ

Everything, in one place

Your customers already use WhatsApp for everything else in their day. A message gets read on their own time and lets them confirm a slot in one tap — something a missed call never offered them. Calling still has its place for high-value customers; Serviciing removes the hundreds of routine follow-ups that were never going to get made anyway.

No, and it is not trying to. Most DMS platforms are built to record what you did — job cards, parts, invoices. Serviciing works on what happens next. It sits alongside your existing system, imports customers and vehicles from it, and handles the follow-up your DMS was never designed to do.

Message frequency is capped and controlled by you. A customer typically hears from Serviciing about four times per service cycle — a reminder, an appointment confirmation, status updates while the vehicle is with you, and one review request. Every message has a clear reason to exist. There is no promotional blast, and customers can opt out at any point.

Most service centres are running within a week, and often within two or three days. The work is importing your customer data, agreeing your service intervals and approving the message templates. Our team does the first import for you.

Excel is fine — we import it. Paper is slower but workable: start with the customers from your last six months, which is where the retention value sits anyway, and build the database forward from there as vehicles come through.

Neither are most of our customers. Setup is handled by our team, your staff need under half an hour of training, and once automation is switched on the only screen an owner needs is the dashboard.

Very little. Service status updates are triggered as your team marks the job through its normal stages. Everything else — reminders, review requests, win-back — runs without anyone touching it.

Yes. Multiple locations sit under one account, with consistent follow-up across all of them and branch-level reporting so you can see which centre is retaining customers and which is not. Branch managers can be given access to their own location only.

The dashboard tracks repeat rate month on month, reminder-to-appointment conversion, and the value of services recovered from customers who came back after a reminder. Compare a month of Serviciing against the same quarter last year and the answer is usually obvious.

Run it for a month and check your repeat rate against the previous quarter. If the number has not moved you will know quickly, and so will we. We would rather tell you upfront that your situation is a poor fit than sell you a subscription you will cancel.

You do. Your customer and vehicle records are exportable at any time, including during and after cancellation, and they remain yours if you stop using Serviciing.

No. There is no device to install and nothing to wire into your workshop. Serviciing runs in a browser, and your customers only need the messaging app already on their phone.

Still not sure?

Ring us and ask the awkward question directly. We would rather lose fifteen minutes than sell you something that will not work for your workshop.
